Along the southern most end of the island the sand grew soft and the water settled. A winding road ran from the top of the north east of the island to the south. The road often went along a cliff most of the time, but at moments there would be a gap in the cliff and a small beach would appear below the road. My brother and I had decided to walk from our home to the south end. As we walked we found one of these beaches and walked down to it. The beach was covered in boulders and large rocks. At the bottom of the cliff the rock hung over creating a cave, where the waves would splash against the rock and gurgle back in to the sea.
