This Monday Wednesday and Friday around six o'clock i put on my swim suit and step out on to the cold pool deck. I then walk up a starting block, still dripping from the cold shower I had taken before and jump in to the water. The first ten minutes of swimming are miserable the water is cold and the laps seem o go on forever, but after another ten minutes the pool starts to seem warmer, the exercise doesn't take so long and the clock starts to turn faster. next Saturday around eleven I'll pack a bag hop in a car and ride to some unknown pool to swim in a meet that will most likely take more than three hours. still i show up every Monday Wednesday and Friday get in the pool and start swimming because i know what that not every week will be like this one some will be easier, and some will be harder ether way in the end the outcome will be more rewarding then not going.
